Italian Pasta Bake

Ingredients
  • 1 (14 oz) package of Klement's Founder's Select Italian Sausage
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 each red & green bell peppers, cubed
  • 1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes, or pasta style tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
  • 8 oz mostaccioli pasta, cooked
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 2 cups Italian shredded cheese
Steps
  • 1. Grease a 13x9 inch baking dish and pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F. 
  • 2. Cut Klement's Italian sausage into ½ inch pieces. Cook sausage in large skillet over medium heat until browned on all sides. Pour off drippings.
  • 2. Add onion, garlic and bell peppers; cook 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  • 3. Add tomatoes and tomato paste; mix well. Stir in pasta and basil.
  • 4. Bake mixture, covered, for 20 minutes.
  • 5. Uncover; sprinkle cheese over casserole. Continue to bake 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
