Italian Sausage Pizza Pockets

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 
  • 2. Cut biscuits into two halves and press each half into a round, flattened circle. 
  • 3. Place a small amount of marinara sauce, one piece of coin cut italian sausage, and a small cube of mozzarella cheese on each biscuit. 
  • 4. Lift the edges of the biscuit to surround the contents and add a second flattened circle of dough to the top and enclose without gaps. 
  • 5. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and spray to grease. Lay the pizza pockets across the sheet evenly. 
  • 6. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic, italian seasoning and salt and pepper. Stir to combine and brush mixture onto each pizza pocket. Top with shredded parmesan and parsley. 
  • 7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until biscuits are slightly browned on top. Serve warm with marinara sauce and enjoy!
