Loaded Italian Sausage Pizza

  • 1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  • 2. Heat skillet to medium heat and brown italian sausage slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • 3. Cook pizza crust according to directions. Once cooked, spread marinara sauce evenly over the crust, leaving 1/2 inch around the edge. Sprinkle the crused red pepper flakes over the sauce and add a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  • 4. Remove sausage from skillet and place evenly around the pizza. Add tomato rings and spoonfuls of ricotta around the surface. Top with chopped basil, italian seasoning and additional mozzarella cheese. 
  • 5. Place pizza on a foil covered baking sheet or preheated pizza stone. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and allow pizza to cool for 2 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!
